Bonjour was established in 1986 and is the leading fresh baked goods company in Israel. In 1990, Bonjour introduced Israelis to the baguette for the first time and ever since the Israeli public identifies it with the baguette.
Over the years, Bonjour expanded its line of products and today it produces and markets a wide range of some 200 products, consisting of breads, bread rolls, baguettes, sweet and savory pastries, cakes, cookies and more.
The Freshest Pastries
Bonjour’s pastries are baked and sold fresh at the baking points in supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and hotels. In order to ensure their excellent taste, the products of Bonjour are frequently tested and win tasting tests against their competition.
Bonjour invests millions of shekels every year in the factory’s production line and in its customers’ baking equipment and uses the best raw materials in a highly meticulous production process, so that consumers can enjoy warm, fresh and tasty pastries of a consistently high quality.
This secures Bonjour’s leadership of the fresh pastries category in Israel by a considerable margin.
Bonjour Factory in Kiryat Gat
In 2006, Bonjour established a new factory in Kiryat Gat and in 2007 it was acquired by the International Osem-Nestle Group. This acquisition placed Bonjour at the forefront of knowhow and technology that it derives from its parent companies – local and global leaders of the food industry.
The majority of employees in the factory are local residents, primarily from Kiryat Gat, this in line with the public commitment of Osem Group to expand employment opportunities in southern Israel.
